Vapor barrier is laid over the entire floor of the crawlspace. Depending on moisture levels, encapsulation tarp may be installed over vapor barrier.
If water is leaking into the crawlspace in large amounts, an interior or exterior draintile system would be needed to redirect water away from the crawlspace and out of the foundation. This would involve installing a sump crock and pump inside the crawlspace to pump water out. This system can be installed in conjunction with a crawlspace encapsulation system.
